The books I feature are usually broad in terms of which age they are “best” for. I have tried my best, though, to categorize them according to these age categories:
- Babies-Toddlers
These are books that have much fewer words, deal with basic concepts such as colors, shapes, or early life experiences. (i.e. using the potty, baby siblings, having a babysitter) - PreK-Kindergarten
These books are typically longer and include full story lines. The concepts get broader and the subjects get deeper (i.e. going to school, separation from parents, friendship, etc) - 1st-2nd Grade
Books for 1st-2nd graders are similar to those for Prek-Kindergarten, but are more mature and generally longer. Picture books are still completely appropriate for use in early elementary classrooms! - For the Adults
These are books from my own shelf! They will range from Jr. Fiction (I love it!) to historical fiction to Christian living. Only reviews here, no extension activities or lesson plans. (Though I may suggest further readings!)
